Hey guys I've been researching this kid, 6-3 so tall enough, has a good arm, makes good decisions, never had lower than 132 QB rating, passed for over 3000 yards with 30td's and only 4 int's, 162 QB rating last year at Houston. Seems like he could be a heckuva QB prospect for Cam to develop. Anyone got an idea what round he should go in?

I think Kolb will go in Round 4....he might be worth a shot in drafting if we don't sign Trent Green, but I would rather try and pick up a Center like Satele out of Hawaii in Round 4 if he is there.

jordan palmer= thanks but no thanks.

This dude doesn't even get along with everybody. Throws an insane amount of ints' and doesn't move well at all. He reminds me over joey, locking onto the primary target and basically emailing everyone to tell them where the ball is going. He doesn't read defenses well. He doesn't even throw a great midrange ball let alone a long ball.
This cat has proved nothing to anybody.

as for kolb... he reminds me of stanton. I would like either one of them. Hard worker, good arm strenght, accurate. he's pretty mobile, throws good while on the run and is a born leader like stanton.
the only question mark on him, is he fumbles quite a bit, and can get a little panicky under pressure if he does decide against scrambling.

Palmer??

:hmmm:

Because of his name?

:hmmm:

Seriously?

Wouldn't draft him until at least the 5th. His stats were good, but he strikes me as a product of the Houston run and gun system. He ran almost totally shotgun and will have to learn a pro style system.

Ugh, no thanks! I don't anything to do with that kid. 64 INTs in that conference? Much better options out there.

NFLdraftcountdown only has him throwing 85 TD's and 32 INT's in 4 years. Not nearly as bad as you state. I'm not sure I like him either though. Here's the writeup:

If you're looking for a "project" or a "diamond in the rough" for later rounds, Nevada's Jeff Rowe has the height, arm strength, and accuracy. In the last three years hes thrown 53 TD's and 30 INT's with a 60.8 completion percentage.

Satele in the 4th would be a major steal. He's the second graded center and is projected as a late 2nd to early 3rd round pick.

No, here's a writeup on him:

Weaknesses:
Does not have the ideal height that you look for...Passing numbers were inflated by playing in a passing system...Accuracy is dodgy, especially on deep balls...Gets too many passes batted down at the line...Worked mostly out of the shotgun...Is going to have to learn how to run a pro style offense and read defenses...Didn't always play against top competition...Mechanics and throwing motion need work

I haven't seen him play but that doesn't sound too good to me.

That becuase I was talking about Jordan Palmer, not Kevin Kolb.
