Ive been opening myself to the possibility that we may be out of luck in landing a QB in the first. And for Oakland and Detroit and others picking before us in the second we may even miss out on Stanton. After watching some of the video on both Stanton and Kolb, I actually found good in both but I feel Kolb has a better arm. The first link is Kolb and Stanton is second. Tell me if you agree. Watch the way they both throw on the run, but Kolb throws that thing like its hot. Ive tried to find some video on Trent Edwards but to no avail.

By no means would I pass on Stanton in the second, but I would be a little concerned about his ability to throw the deep ball. Kolb is a deep threat, no doubt.

Go phins.

Kevin Kolb reminds me of Jeff Garcia.

How about John Beck from BYU this guy has some talent too, too bad he will be 25 when he is drafted but in 2005 he had 3,709 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions with a 64.5 completion percentage in 12 games. In 2006 he threw for 3,885 yards, 32 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 69.3-percent of his attempts.

I think John Beck would be best suited in a West Coast Offense. He could really find a niche there. If Oakland decides to go with Calvin Johnson with the #1 pick, Beck would be a solid pickup in their next couple of picks.

I dont know but that Jon Beck kid sure can play and some team will be very lucky to Draft this kid....... Im not saying I wouldnt like Staton or Kolb or Edwards. All Im saying is the Beck looks like he can really bring his game to the NFL. Will see if Cam and Mueller give him a look.

Out of Drew Stanton, Trent Edwards and Kevin Kolb, I like Kolb the best with Edwards second. I think Kolb has really good tools and a nice gunslinger mentality. Edwards has had a very difficult time staying healthy and Stanton seems like a mobile Kerry Collins.

Beck is going to make some team very happy they selected him. He is mobile, has a strong arm, and is a true leader on the field. His walk-off-the-field touchdown pass to Johnny Harline against Utah this year was one for the ages. I hope we give him a really good look.
