It's been 10 days since the Dolphins beat the Jets on Monday Night Football; our Quarterback of the future is now the Quarterback of now in Chad Henne. How will Chad Henne build off of the success in his first two NFL starts? In his first game against Buffalo he was asked to manage the game and in his 2nd start against the Jets he showed that he can do far more than manage a game. The Saints look as good as any team in the NFL but with that said I think the Miami Dolphins really matchup well with them.

Coming off of the bye week I expect to see some more wrinkles in the Wild-Cat offense and I fully expect Pat White to have involvement in some of these wrinkles. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams are both playing as well or better than they ever have so getting them the rock whether it's the Wild-Cat or conventional offense is key to this game as it will allow us to control the ball which ultimatly allows us to control the clock and keep the ball out of Drew Brees' hands. If we enter this game with a "Shoot-out" mentaility than we are in for a long day. I am excited to see Chad Henne; to be honest Henne has me believing that he was best Quarterback in that draft class. Ted Ginn Jr. and Davone Bess seem ready to have a big game against very suspect Cornerback's for the Saints. Their secondary is young besides Darren Sharper who proved against the Jets that he has some gas in his tank. Our offense will be fine against an average Saints defense. The Saints defense has improved but they still don't scare me. Their defensive ends aren't speed rusher as they are more of a "bull-rush" tandem which makes me think Jake Long is going to be dominant all day because not many can match power for power with Big Jake. Jake Grove will be asked to handle Sedrick Ellis and based off of his play against Kris Jenkins I think he is up for it.

Our defense is what corncerns me as I am officially calling out Jason Taylor, Joey Porter, and Cameron Wake to get pressure on Drew Brees. Getting pressure on Brees is the only way to truly stop him and the Miami Dolphins have had good success getting pressure on Brees in the past which gives him a lifetime record of 0-3 against the Dolphins but that was when he was playing for the Chargers. No one, not even Peyton Manning, is playing as well as Brees so getting pressure on him will help our young corners such as Sean Smith and Vontae Davis in coverage. Tight Ends have killed us this season and even though he hasn't been as productive as he was in the past Jeremy Shockey is still dangerous. Channing Crowder will have to stop talking and play a little football. The Saints running game doesn't concern me much as our run defense is ranked 3rd in the league but Reggie Bush catching passes out of the abckfield causes reason for concern.

If we stick to our game plan and can run on their defense and control the clock than I truly think we can pull off the upset. JT and Joey Porter need to get to Brees and they need hit him and put him on his a$$ so he knows we are for real. The Saints best Offensive Linemen Jamaal Brown is out for the season and replaced by Jermon Bushrod. Pressure and controlling the clock are the most important keys to this game and I also think that taking shots deep and early with Chad Henne to Teddy Ginn will put this shakey Saints' secondary in their place...

I agree with everything you said. It will truly come down to our pass rush. If we can keep pressure on Brees the chances of getting a TO goes up. I also feel we can keep their running game under control.

It's funny to hear the Saint's fan talk about "not worried" about our base running. How they are ranked high against the run. Again, the Giants WOULD HAVE rushed for more yards had they decided not to match blow for blow.

We'll see what our team is made of in this game. I think the extra time off is going to help us. I truly feel this extra time off will benefit the D. I think we will have a plan of attack versus the Saints.

I can't wait to watch this game. I also hope for no injuries and hope we show up and punch them right in the mouth and show the NFL they need to take us seriously.

Disagree:

1) Jermon Bushrod is playing at a high level and at the end of the season, Jamaal Brown might get traded or released because of Bushrod.

2) Harper and Sharper are one of the best safety duos out there right now.

1. Ditto on Bushrod, he will cause the Saints to release/trade Brown next year.
2. Shockey is fully recovered from his injuries and playing at a very high level this year.
3. The Giants were ranked #1 against the rush and we hung nearly 140 yards on them rushing
4. The saints secondary was totally rebuilt this season is a serious strength now.

But I do think it's going to be a good, close game.

I've seen the Saints a few times, and am not impressed with their front 7 on D or their OL. I am impressed with their DBs and their passing
attack, although Brees was kinda ordinary against Buff and the Jets.

It comes down to our strengths run and stop the run vs their weakness, and their strengths pass and stop the pass vs our weakness.

Our strengths have been more consistant, and I would not be surprised at all if we finally got some pressure on the QB.

Darren Sharper is a solid veteran and it's hard to talk negative about him after what he did to the Jets but there is a reason the Saints is the third team he has been on in the last 5 years. The Packers and Vikings let him go b/c despite being a solid play-maker he is a poor tackler and isn't very fast these days. If we line Ted Ginn Jr. on the left side of our offense and say fly route Ginn will be able to make some big plays. The Saints are a better team than us andthere is no denying this BUT this is the NFL and we get them at home. As hot as Drew Brees has been Ronnie Brown has been just as hot. The Saints front seven isin for a long day. Our offense is really starting to blossom and as much as we fear Brees, Saints players and fans fear Ronnie and Ricky....
