I was talking with another member of the board about this the other day and in our opinion the major key is to watch their tight ends - like we didn't do with the Falcons and the Chiefs. How are good are Graham and Faurier?

Graham is lethal, he's been tearing up teams all year. Fauria as a veteran is also very dangerous and could have his moments. I completely agree. With Dillon still hurt the Patriots may dump it off to those TE's quite a bit, taking the Dolphin defense by suprise as they expect the number 2 pass offense to fire it down field to recievers.

They are no where remotly close to Crumpler and Gonzales. That was arguably the top two TE's in the NFL and no team can stop them they can only hope to contain them. That being said I am a little concerned about our D anyway. Some consistancy and a hell of alot better effort on 3rd downs is a must for us to win this game and or the division.

Fellow Dolfin fans, the game will have to be won on Gus's arm. Mark my words, Bellicheck will put 8 men in the box. He has been praising Ronnie all week, while some of it my be just posturing, it is also an indication of respect for ronnies ability to run the ball. So, he will diffuse that by putting up a 8 man front, God knows when was the last time we ran the ball well against an 8 or 9 man front, afterall we don't have the steelers/ chiefs/ broncos offensive line. So it will be a battle of Gus vs. Brady and I fear the worst in this match up.

RUN the R&R TRAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That is the key and the only key to the game!!

And at that point Gonzalez was having one of the worst seasons among TE's in the NFL. Every team found ways to shut him down except our over rated defense. Graham has had a very good season i DO worry about him quite a bit. We wont be able to pressure Brady and with our 3rd down garbage giving the number 2 pass offense TIME to throw? We're cooked.....

I agree, I see Brady just doing a lot of dumping off to the TE's and then toss a few deep balls on us. THey know our secondary isn't that good anymore.

WATCH out for Ben Watson......David Givens is out as a wide out target for Brady. Troy Brown will see more action....

We absolutely MUST get physical early and often...lay the smackdown on these Pathetics every time that touch the ball....Keep the game close so we can run our gameplan....we have to keep the Pathetics defense honest and keep running the ball aginst stacked lines...

Play action is the only way to get our receivers open ENOUGH so even Gus can hit them!

Yeah like your boy was not a problem at all last year. Your posts are ignorant and mean nothing to people that actually know football. And once again you people playing the men in the box record let me point out that Ricky has faced that his whole carreer and even took us to 10 -6 records facing that and now we have two of them and if you put the ball in gus's hands we will lose badly.

the key, not give up a first drive TD, and then run the ball a lot to keep our defense off the field

I fear this is true, but the Pats passing game is a short one, which gives us a chance. There will be lots of screens and short passes outside to WR's as well as dump offs to TE's. Every team knows this, but its a matter of stopping it, which not many teams have suceeded in doing so far. Then again the Pats know we are weak in the secondary, so they may change there philosophy this week and try stretching the field. They also have Dillon running the ball, and we dont seem to be stopping the rush too well either---Help

Ed Werder just said Daniel Graham won't play on NFL Countdown

I heard that too. David Givens, Graham, and the LT he said as well. This is great news!!!
