I think the Jets will come out and try to beat us by having Pennington throw deek and dunk passes. If we can take away their short passing game, and contain Martin to a certain extent, I think we'll win the game.

What do think the key factor will be in us winning the game?

I agree with taking awway the short passing lanes. PRESSURE on Pennington every play, mixed with hurries, knock downs, and sacks. If we can get that done watch out

I think that we will have to perform on offense like we did with the Chefs...take whatever they give us and make sure to hit the deep ball when it's there.

Key to winning the game:

#1 Stop Curtis Martin
#2 Ronnie Brown needs 100 yards and a TD
#3 Put Pennington on his back

1-No turnovers
2-contain Martin
3-run the ball well to control the clock

#1) Stop Curtis Martin - Put the game in Pennington's hands. Curtis Martin doesn't fumble much, so we have a better chance at turnovers if Pennington has to throw up about 35-40 passes.

#2) Throw it deep - If we can keep the CB's on their toes, the short game will open up. Look for McMichael to have a huge game.

#3) Blitz Often - The more we blitz, the quicker Pennington is having to throw the ball, which, when rushed, we all know he doesn't do very well. Give him time and he can pick you apart.

Stop Curtis Martin
Pressure Pennington.....Force him to through the ball before he is ready
Keeo our defense off the field as much as possible....keep them fresh for 4th quarter.

Pressure Pressure Pressure!!! That is the key. We can NOT let our foot off the gas at ALL...lets all take a minute to puke in a bucket and remember the Monday Night DISASTER!!!

Offense-
Establish Running Game
No Stupid mistakes ( false starts, turnovers)

Defense-
Pressure Pennington
Stop the run

Offense - O-Line must repeat their performance of game one and keep Gus Clean.
Eliminate the pre-snap penalties, and stick with the rushing game even if it's not working early.. also, we need to continue to do what we did Sunday, make touchdowns when in the red zone, not FG's.. good job on that Sunday with Morris' TD and Randy's catch.

Defense - Stuff Martin and Force Pennington to beat us. Make them one deminsional. A one deminsional team against a Nick Saban coached/schemed defense will be ineffective at best.

I say stop Martin and get our ground game going.

Shutting down Martin and giving Gus time to make good throws and reads. We need to elimnate the amount of false starts that were stopping our drives last game.
