1. Bring more than just the four D-linemen at Rivers. They are without
their starting center and guard. Make them keep Gates or Manumaleuna
in to help block.

2. Stop Antonio Gates!!!!!.....he hasn't done much yet this year, but we
haven't shut down a tight end yet.

3. Watch the screen pass to Sproles....no LT again, they like to get
Sproles out in space. He caught a flare pass for an 81 yard TD last
week.

4. We should be able to run the ball, Jamal Williams (DT) is out for the
year.

5. Run a 4 receiver set so they can't put 7, 8 men in the box like every
defense does against us.The only reason we still run so well against it
is because of the wildcat. I guarantee their defensive
coordinator wouldn't be expecting it. They're expecting another eat up
the clock offensive game plan.

6. San Diego likes the big play, gotta keep Sproles and Vincent Jackson
from making 30, 40 yard plays like the Colts did last week. If we do
that, Fins win!!!!!!

Gates had a great game last week. What are you talking about?

Same thing MIA did last week with the addition of scoring TDs not FGs and play SOME defense.

-I say tackle TE's before they score 60 yd TDs (and running backs)
-Catch footballs in the endzone
-Don't drop int's that land right in your hand
- and don't audible to a run on 3 and 6 with 4 minutes to go in their territory.

I guess I was comparing Gates' game last week to the 2 TE's we've already played. Five catches and 78 yards is a good game but compared it to this

Tony Gonzalez 5 catches for 73 yards and a TD (almost 2, tackled at the one). Similar except for a TD

Dallas Clark catches for 183 yards and a TD

Our passing game has got to start making some big plays, way too many drops last week against the Colts...we hang on to those and we win hands down. The defense has to put some pressure on the QB and come up with some turnovers. The fins are giving up too much yardage on pass plays, the run defense has been solid thus far as well as the offense running the ball.

How about something "Crazy" like the Jets did last week. Fake the blitz on one side and bring it hard from the other.
Seemed to work out well for them.
Miami is not disguising its coverages and blitzes at all; and if I can see them from my couch, then I am certain that seasoned NFL QB's will be able to beat them easily, which is what has happened the last 2 weeks.

it will be the sproles and gates show
