Keys to rushing Defense for Fins

The Dolphins need to contain the perimeter when blitzing to the inside because over penetration has hurt this defense. I saw Crowder blow by the runner several times because of over per suite against the Hawks. All and all the defense can not let running backs turn the corner. Someone has to stay home to watch for the RB that makes it to the second level and that someone needs to make the tackle. Our tackling sucks in the open field. Also our defensive backs need to play closer to their man because we are giving up way to many yards after the catch because we are giving to big of a cusion. Just some observations about play lately. Go fins love ,this team:D

overrall, they've been quite disciplined and you feel it when they aren't. All the big runs come from overpursuit or bad angles, i agree with you

It seems as though other teams cant beat our defense strait up, so offenses are doing a lot of presnap formations that are trying to confuse us, which admittedly so has been hurting them in their rush defense. They will get better.
