Keys to this weekend's Fins Jets game

We all know we need a win...and I will be the first to say that we (The Fins) should win this game....But I ask you all now: How? What are the keys to this game??? The Jets are still a winning football team and us playing there will be tough...We need to do alot of things right to win...Here are my keys:
1. Time of possession-Favre will kill us if we dont get off the field. Our Offense needs to continue doing what weve done all yr (except for (9'ers game) and that is administer long scoring drives.
2. Crowder is key to us stopping the run...get healthy man and get back to making 10+ tackles per game
3. Special Teams-plain and simple STOP LEON and get whoever is back returning kicks going...Field position is huge
 
Get pressure on Favre and don't give up the big plays. Keep Thomas Jones in check.

On offense, continue to play mistake free football. If we win the penalty and turnover battle, we'll probably win the game.
 
Simple. Keep doing what we have been doing and hopefully the Jets keep playing the way they have. If those things happen, we should win fairly easily.

Im not too worried about keeping Favre off the field. They way he has played in the last 4 games, him on the field can only mean good things for the phins.

The way their defense has played, we should be able to run the ball and Pennington should have plenty of time in the pocket.
 
The keys offensively are pretty much the same as always. Take what the defense gives us. Don't try for the home run. Do not turn the ball over. Run the ball effectively. Pass protection.

Defensively, we have to get pressure on Favre. The defensive line has to get push off the ball. We have to force him to scramble out of the pocket because he will force the ball into coverage and hopefully we can create turnovers. Our secondary has to bring their A game in this one. Coles cannot get behind the safties. Do NOT give up the big plays. We have to be able to play 60 minutes of solid assignment football and we have to be able to at least contain Leon Washington.
 
I expect to see some quirks out of the wildcat this weekend. Maybe even that play that got us a TD vs. the Texans, Where pennington found cobbs for the TD.

We gotta get pressure on Farve forcing him to throw the picks he often throws
 
We have to get to Favre and have him force those crappy gun slinger throws of his....unfortunately the last time we played the Jets we forced him to throw a pass which looked like a punt and it came down in the end zone for a Jet's TD.
 
good fundamental football will do the trick....i feel good boys about this game...I CANT WAIT!!!
 
Our biggest problem we been having over the past games is THERES no pressure from the DL... our opponent has forever to Throw the ball down the field. Porter needs to step up more than any other game.. Cuz i think we are going to have a very long game if our DL doesn't.

We haven't won many games easily!
 
1. Don't turn the ball over on offense

2. Create turnovers on defense

3. Break FAV-RE's hip (shouldn't be hard considering his age)

Go Phins!!!
