Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports Carolina Panthers WR Keyshawn Johnson says Oakland Raiders WR Randy Moss no longer is considered one of the NFL's elite receivers. "Randy Moss wanted out of Minnesota? Oh well," Johnson said. "Four years ago, he was the best wide receiver in the NFL. Now you can't get a pack of gum for him."

Not that I necessarily disagree with Keyshawn here...but is Keyshawn still considered "one of the NFL's elite receivers?"

Keyshawn Johnson was never an elite receiver.

He has always been a decent possession receiver -- no more, no less. He thinks that he is a top-tier number one but, for the majority of his career, he hasn't even been the best receiver on his own team.

Keyshawn shouldn't say anything he was never an elite reciever and was always a good not great possesion receiver.

He's alright. I don't know why he thinks he can talk smack about other receivers when he's been cut/traded/deactivated by like 4 different teams. If Moss had any sort offense around him he would blow Keyshawn right out of the water.

If OJ had a big mouth and was a cancer in the locker room, he'd be MeShawn.

I dont think Keyshawn thinks he's an elite WR. I mean he knows he isnt the best WR on his team. What he says about Moss is true though

At least keyshawn plays hard.....

he was definitely an elite WR in his last couple of years w/ the jets and first couple w/ TB. this is the man who made Ray Lucas look like a decent NFL QB.

:yeahthat:

Keyshawn was and still is a great possesion WR, possesion WRs aren't among the elite though. but he's a guy you can count on to make a catch. he's doing good this year with the Panthers. great complament to Steve Smith, complete opposites. Speedy WR and Possesion WR

Put Moss on the Colts and let see the stats at the end of the year. Moss would have 12 td's over 100 catches. Moss is just on a horrible team.

Keyshawn just hates that he is in Carolina and not getting the T.O. attention or even any attention like Randy Moss. I always have thought ME-shawn was a little too full of himself....he also always has that ****y smug grin on his face.
