KFFL - Larry Johnson to Dolphins?

Just saw this on KFFL. Nothing substanciated yet. They may be int in a DB. I have to say I love Will Poole, and he makes Howard expendable, not sure about PS or SM. I wouldn't mind it if we came away with LJ and a 2nd rounder. Just reporting what I read.

The only DB I'd trade is Arturo Freeman. Freeman or Moore are the only players I'd trade that KC would take.

I'm not too sure about Larry Johnson anyways. Can you say Curtis Enis?

With Madson againg there is no way you can give up Poole or Howard. Thats the future.

Putting any RB in this backfield is just plain mean to that person and their family. Barry Sanders, Ricky Williams, Walter Peyton, you name it... they would all SUCK in this backfield.

This OL and offensive scheme is SO bad!! There is no shade of lipstick for this pig. I am sick of feeling the way I do watching these guys play.

The Kansas City Chiefs called the Dolphins this week to gauge Miami's interest in running back Larry Johnson, and that interest might have risen Sunday night.

Last week, Chiefs coach Dick Vermeil was quoted as saying Johnson would have to get rid of his ''diapers'' -- the inference being that the running back has been a baby. Vermeil apologized.

It is unclear what the Chiefs are asking for Johnson, but they need a defensive back. Through a team spokesman, Dolphins general manager Rick Spielman declined to comment, saying he would talk only about players on the roster.

A source close to safety Arturo Freeman said this week he would welcome a trade

It looks like it might be Freeman which sounds good to me except I can't see Johnson helping out much this season. The o-line is every running backs nightmare...they'd get worked over by a good college defense too.

I just read it in todays Palm Beach Post...

according to FOXSPORTS.com......
Spielman was questioned but wouldn't address it.
Apparently they're seeking a WR , LB or draft pick in return.

This is one of the guys i wanted b4 the season started but i thought we had no chance..... Obviously Vermiel's recent idiotic remarks have cause a rift between the two. Unfortunatley i think its a little late, maybe if Gordon's shoulder injury is serious we'll pull the trigger...

I thought Henry did the best he could last night... not much to work with.

Lets just cut the losses, ride this season out and start from scratch with a high draft pick

Lets split with the Jets, Bills, and Pats, call it a 3-13 year and stock up on draft picks.
