Dolphins | McKinney could be gone; Hadnot may move to center
Sun, 15 Jan 2006 08:16:41 -0800

Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports the Miami Dolphins have given no indication to OC Seth McKinney they are interested in re-signing him for the 2006 season. That has fueled speculation OL Rex Hadnot will move to center.

Falcons | Madison may be interested in joining them

Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports there is some speculation that if the Miami Dolphins do not keep CB Sam Madison, he could be interested in joining the Atlanta Falcons.

Someone enlighten me.
Is Hadnot a better center or guard?

probably X. He did good at RG this year, but he struggled a big against stronger DTs. Plus, he's better at making calls and getting off the ball than McKinney.

You know what this means? There will be countless threads started this week about trading Sam Madison for Mike Vick.

They would be flawed -- his contract his up.

All I Know Is That When Seth Went Down We Started To Win.... I Think Rex Is Way More Aggrressive Than Seth. I Hate Watching Him Run Block He Looks Like A Manattee Out Of Water.. Rex Is Like A Tank At Center

both are still under contract, but there is a good chance that miami cuts madison and takes the cap hit.

He's a better run blocker as guard but he plays more disciplined (no penalties) when he's at center.

Trade Madison for Atlantas 4th and we can pick up another steal like Travis Daniels!

Vick = Most Overrated Player In NFL HISTORY... Dont want him... I know that you were joking but I just wanted to make that clear...

Anyway... I would rather see Hadnot at C next year than any of the other options out there... We could pick up someone like Toniu Foniti or Jon Runyan in FA and mabey draft a good young G or T in the latter rounds of the draft...

Doubt that would be possible... I would be elated if we somehow got our 5th round pick back for Madison... Put yourself in ATL's position... Why would you trade for Madison if you already know hes going to be released... Mabey if Saban did some kind of trickery and said something like "We fully expect Sam to be with our squad in 06'" then, and only then, could we get a 4th round pick...

Well if no one gives a good mid round pick for Sam then there's no use for a trade. Maybe the Rams could be interested?

I think a trade up from the 16th overall to the 11th overall of the Rams sounds like fair compensation. That would give us more than a fair shot at Cutler and possibly Jimmy Williams...
