This game is where it all begins... The road to the division title and playoffs begins at this very stadium! The game will be intense and the FINS have something to prove! We are no longer just a good team that makes the playoffs... We are taking it home! We are bringing the respect back to South Florida in February! We will set yet another NFL record...

So for all you guys and gals that plan to attend this game, let's start the cry of victory early!!!

While I am extremelly excited for this game, it really is a bit over hyped. I know every game is important in this league, but it really isn't one of the most important games on our schedule. The two most important are hands down the New England games. I know we will all be way down if we do lose this game, but we have to remember it's just one game and you can't be discouraged. The Panthers started 1-2 last year and the Broncos got their butts whooped by a worse team on opening day last year.

Nonetheless, I will probably cry if we lose that game so LETS GO FINS!

Every game is important. I see Jason Taylor hammering Roethlisberger in the 1st quarter and hitting him harder than the car he slammed into with his bike. Then DC is gonna show up all the haters and doubters.....including, smug pompous Jerome Bettis, who seems to think the Steelers are going to roll our Phins easily. The Steelers will get their SB rings and then they will be in for a big let down when we beat them.

Amen brother! Man I sure do hope you are correct.

Didn't Joey Harrington have a great game against the Steelers in Week 17 with the Lions?

That Steeler secondary is a bit overrated. Ike Taylor is solid not great, and Troy Polamalu is as good as it gets, but Townsend and who ever is suppose to be the replacement for Chris Hope are nothing.

I expect Booker, Chambers, and McMichael to have a great game.

I just finished watching the Bucs game on delay and we already talking about the next game.Thats great.Double barreled fun.

We would all love a big victory in Pitt. But, true there are more important games. It would mean more if we were playing NE.

IF we lose it will be a downer but only game 1. When we lose I rather lose tough games vs. strong teams (in this case defending champs) early than in Dec. If we win then the significance is one up on the Steelers if we have to vie against them for seeding in the playoffs, home field advantage, or (and hopefully not because that means we won't win the div.) fighting over a wildcard spot.

Having said that I want to see big things from Daunte. What a great sight if the first TD of the season is Daunte to CC for a long TD pass!!

BINGO! I am looking forward to October 8 much more so than I am September 7. (For those who didn't know, that's the day we travel to Gillette Stadium to play the Pats.) I am so sick and tired of all these Pats fans running their mouths and that is the day I can finally shut all of them up. It will feel so good making them all eat the crow!

I hate to be the one to bring a little negativity to this post, but let's remember that we are playing the Super Bowl Champs in their house on opening night. They were riding real high at the end of last season and I see no reason why that would end now. Now I hope and I believe we can win this game but for those who think it's a slam dunk may be in for a big let down.

if we can pull off a win it will go along way to help our confidence. Plus every poll should have us rated alot higher or #1 right oiff the bat. it could be a very important win.

I think we have a real shot at winning @ Pitt, but it will be tough. If we do, look out! If we don't, I'm not going to be worried about it.
