It looks like we made the right decisions. Did Fields or Sturgis find another job? How much did we save by cutting them?

The punting could have been better but I'm very happy with franks. Only 1 returnable kickoff out of 4

Franks was fine, but keeping Darr will come back to bite us in the ass. The guy has absolutely no touch. We are going to miss Fields pinning the opponents within the 5 time after time.

Darr has good hang time but I miss Fields precision.

Hang time for Darr stood out to me too. Hopefully he can develop the accuracy. They both have NFL legs, I think we can say that.

Darr did have one bad punt from Midfield that resulted in a touchback and wasn't really close to the goal line.

About $1.8 million by cutting both of them. I think Fields will end up being picked up at some point this season.

Call me in the minority, but I'd rather have the hang time than the "precision" of Fields. Fields had a problem w his hang time last year and we had too many good returns against us. I don't mind the touch back. The other guys have to go 80 yards for a TD - feels better than hitting a 44 yard, low punt that yields a 9 yard return. Both kids played well.
