I know a lot of people didn't like kiko, but I did.

Yeah, Kiko was unnecessarily vilified here. He was pretty good, and most of his deficiencies were exacerbated by terrible scheming by Burke. That said, he’s not a scheme fit for Flores’ defense, so his trade or release became inevitable. Good luck to him.

Always out of position, can't run with RBs in coverage (or QBs, see josh allen), not a good tackler...what scheme does he fit? He's a very below average starter. good riddance.

He is a finesse player and that wont fit well in our new scheme. He made plays but too often was beaten in coverage, flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct and couldnt shed a block to save his life. I'm ok with this after the way Eguavoen has played

Could not cover the passing routes effectively. In this defense a LB has to cover the TE and RB and Kiko was just to slow.

Would be an excellent #3 LB on nearly any team. If we had better defensive scheming and at least one other LB who knew WTF they were doing, he would have looked better. Instead, he was always the best LB on a horrible unit with horrible coaching.

He'll find his niche with some other team that doesn't put him in a position to fail like we did.
