Kiko's 4th & 1 stop

Great play to get in position, very poor attempt to tackle that almost resulted in a 1st down...

Great job finding the correct gap to fill and making contact but he should have tried to wrap him up or hawk-tackle Powell instead of just trying to lay wood. Had the other defender not been there, Powell may have escaped for the first down.

Yeah that tackle was not good but so nice to see a guy in the right position to impede the runner instead of the "where's the LBs??" type holes we've seen.

Very poor blocking effort by number 82 on the Jets....Kiko was right there and he did not block him at all. Great effort by Kiko but yeah, you gotta rap up...playoff LB's wrap up.

He's a playmaker who flies around, but that was so close to being a first down. Love his relentless play style though. Definitely a keeper

It's crazy how some want to call Alonso out. Jenkins has been here how many years? Name one game defining play he's made? Don't worry I'll wait! Miami needs to either through draft or FA get a really soild LB. Some say MLB moving Alonso outside which is fine by me. I'm tired of seeing those runs right up the middle.

Thank you! Thank you! Name one other LB we have that puts themselves in position to affect the play like that.

Jenkins has nothing to do with how Alonzo should try to tackle someone...

Hard to complain about wrapping up when he was off-balance shooting through the gap. Think Kiko was as surprised as anyone.

Cool now lets make a thread of how Jenkins shows how to tackle someone. Good luck finding a clip of that.

I'm an Alonzo fan. I defended him in PRE-SEASON when people were calling him a terrible signing. Saying he was weak, not tackling well and taking bad angles... But you can't deny that breaking tackles is a problem for our defense, especially in the run game. Kiko needs to wrap that tackle up. And I'll bet you when they watch film, the coaches will tell him that too. Hell, he probably realized it himself before he hit the ground.

Keep in mind guys...Kiko is playing with a club on his hand right now.

Oh I realize that, but he threw himself at ball carriers instead of wrapping up all day... I would understand if he wrapped up a guy and let him slip because of the club.... But that wasnt the case, he played like he had both arms amputated...
