Killing The Bye

Hi.

Just wondering how you lot will spend your BYE week? Will you watch a divison rivals game, or watch an old fins game. maybe its a non football weekend for yourself.

For me its American football training 10am-1pm then home for some dinner. Then 6pm-12 midnight its Texans/Bengals and Jets/Baltimore on our double header over here in England.

I will also be on the NFL gamecenters keeping track of my fantasy team. Still, despite all this, im gonna miss the Fins not playing. :cry:

As disloyal as it sounds, I always root against the Cowboys no matter who they are playing against. I almost get as much satisfaction out of seeing the Cowboys getting beat as I do the Dolphins winning. And considering how bad the Cowboys have sucked for the better part of the last decade, its safe to say my 2nd favorite team has been doing well in recent years.

Honestly, I just root for injuries to our AFC East opponents (I know it sounds cruel, but dammit I cant help it), focus on Michigan State (they play the hated Wolverines Saturday...this is probably the best-timed bye week Ive experienced in over 20 years of Dolphins football), play Madden and check out college prospects.

Thats ridiculous. I never wish injury upon any player in the NFL, although I will admit there was a time or two where was hoping Peyton would have got a little banged up last year when chasing Dan's record. But thats the extent of it.

If its football season and its sunday I will be watching football! It sucks when its not the fins though... but there is no alternitive on sunday. I'll basicaly just focus in on my fantasy teams and pay closer attention to who i have playing.

Hopefully watching the Patriots, Jets and Bills lose (though i'll take whatever losses there that I can get).

Really though, I just taped the 'Game of the Week'. I'll watch that a lot.
