as a kimbo and a die hard dolphin fan i just found out kimbo played with the dolphins in 1997 and was cut after pre-season. Dont know where i was going with this thread.. but i thought it was cool.. sorry:foundout::foundout:
 
I thought he didn't go pro because of an injury or something like that

When you said Kimbo I thought you meant WQAM's Kim Bokamper. That was one of his nicknames back then.

Kinda cool to know. But if he was the last cut then why wasnt he on the PS?
 
Are we talking about Kimbo Slice? the youtube backyard brawler (who has now gone pro or something)?

He was a walk-on. A lot of people don't know that.

True story here about Kimbo with the 'Canes. He and Warren Sapp got into a verbal spat at practice one day and before they two could be pulled apart, Kimbo decked Sapp and knocked him out cold.
 
I heard he almost made the team, but kept going out to the parking lot to fight people during practice.
