King Ireland wants complete control

If things work out personal wise Ireland will get all the credit , if not all the blame. Sometimes you have to choose stability in the long haul, over the constant makeovers looking for the quick fix.

3 straight losing seasons and Ireland has somehow managed to avoid absolutely all blame. Things haven't worked out, yet Ross believes Ireland is the long term solution for reasons beyond team success. Some people sustain through their politicking behind the scenes instead of actual results.

More often than not coaches with additional power struggle. Fisher didn't excactly tear it up in Tenn. with additional power in personnel decisions.

I believe there will be a better, younger coach in store for the Dolphins. It may be Toub.

That's what this is all about, all Fisher wanted was to have a "partnership" with Ireland and Ross and they all work together to put together the structure of the organization, he did not want "complete control" he was willing to compromise but Ross wanted King Ireland to have complete control over everything and I'm sure Ireland put that in Ross ear, Brian Billick is being interviewed right now on the radio and he is saying the exact thing I'm saying, there needs to be a partnership with Owner, GM, and coach, but ross and ireland don't understand that concept, so Ireland will probably hire somebody he can completely control, he wants to be able to court other coaches behind his current coaches back, he wants to continue to ask players if their mom was a prostitute. When Peter King asked some people around the league about dealing with Ross and Ireland, the response they gave him was "proceed with caution."

And you know this how? This thread deserves the 1 star it will surely receive.

this is bull**** Fisher used Miami to get the deal he wanted from the Rams, we should have walked on him but he must have our guys on a string.
I don't beleive he would have made a diff in Miami another Parcells.

Fisher also was a strong candidate to fill the Dolphins' opening. At one point Wednesday night, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter it was "80-20" that Fisher would choose Miami over St. Louis as his next job.
However, the Dolphins and Fisher could not agree on the structure of the organization, league sources said. Fisher was willing to make some compromises, but the Dolphins wanted general manager Jeff Ireland to remain as the No. 1 man in the organization, and ultimately, it helped unseal any potential deal with the Dolphins, according to the sources. espn.com

you are 110% right because i was getting my grandbaby to sleep and had barney on and he told me that Ross wanted ireland to have all of the control and thats what turned Fisher away from us in a hurry and i cant blame Fisher for NOT CHOOSEING US IMHO I THINK IRELAND AND ROSS ARE LOVERS BECAUSE he dont want to build this franchise he wants to destroy it ,wanna know something ? thats why Bill Cowher didnt come out of the booth because Ross had done told him that he wanted ireland to have what you say ALL OF CONTROL ,a source last year ,and it was a strong source that said that Cowher wanted to coach the Giants , Dolphins ,or the houston and the only opening there was ,was Miami so after Ross told ALL OF THE COACHES that he wanted ireland to have all control ,thats what turned them all away from this once proud franchise ,im serious because it was after Cowher said no ,that it was said tha coughlin might get fired at the years end and that a source said that cowher might be interstead .so imo we are SCREWED i cant beleave what ross has done to our beloved team he needs to sell out and get the hell out of town as fast as he can gooooooooo.
