Mel Kiper Jr. has us taking Ted Ginn, Jr. at #9...Here are a few snippets from an ESPNSportsnation Chat today concerning the Dolphins.

Brian Madison, WI: Any chance Ted Ginn, Jr. falls to the Packers at #16?

Mel Kiper: (1:38 PM ET ) I can't see that happening. I have him going 9th to the Dolphins. With his electrifying ability and how versatile he is in the return game. He's not that big, so he'll have to show them something there.

Todd (NY): Mel, Who do see the Dolphins taking with the 9th overall pick?

Mel Kiper: (1:59 PM ET ) I think their needs are at OLB, WR, OL, DT. I have them taking Ted Ginn, Jr. He's an explosive WR. I think he'll be a nice pick at No. 9.

And for all those on the Levi Brown bandwagon and who are still in denial that we will be addressing the OLine via FA...

What are you talking about? ESPN said that he dominated! Pan Caking people on their butts! It was on ESPN insider a summary on Monday's practice.

If that's the case it's the first report I've read that about him. Kiper Jr. said he struggled in this morning's practice but he's a solid Top 15 pick. He has him going to Carolina at #14.
 
Not sold on Ginn at 9. Just doesn't have the total package at WR IMO.

This is just now cut and pasted from Kiper's insider senior bowl report about Levi Brown:

"Levi Brown has proven to be one of the better players at the Senior Bowl. The Penn State offensive lineman has good feet and adjusts to the secondary move pretty well."

Right off of the web site...There was other stuff too, WHERE he was dominating this guy from Michigan, but I can't find it...
 
Ginn would rot!!!

If we take Ginn at 9, I quit, with all the needs, we take a guy who can just run fast...........who cares?? His hands suck, he's small, and NFL defenses are just as fast, granted punt returners are something we havent had in a while but to spend a top 10 pick on basically a punt returner is a horrible decison that I hope Mueller doesnt make................

Troy Smith won the heisman this year. I assure you it wasnt because of Ginns KR skills...
