Gus will not start, and if he does be ready for another terrible season.
any why is that Kreskin?

If Gus beats out AJ fair and square in TC, I sure as hell dont want to see a lesser QB start, because then by your logic, we'd be in for even a worse season

These guys havent even thrown one ball yet, where does Kiper get this from? dont believe him, once we finish with the draft, and start training camps, then we could make predictions, i think a bunch of these reporters are just pissed at Saban because he doesnt give them much to write about.....

The only thing that Ferotte has proven over his career is that he is a solid back-up why would be want to start a guy who has proven that he wasn't able to be a permanent starter for any of the five teams that he has played for in his career. Don't get me wrong he is definetly a great back-up for us, not only because of his NFL experience but because his experience playing in our new offense. But our starter...NO WAY!!!

Kiper's ridiculous. Knows next to everything about the draft, and next to nothing about what's going on in the pros. If Frerotte ends up starting, he'll be one of the last ones to know about it.

Kiper puts stuff like this out just to jack up the number of subscribers willing to pay for his "expert" predictions. He's a little better than average at predicting which players will be stars and which will be busts, but he is no better than any of us at predicting which player, or even position, that any given team will select

when it comes to college prospects, Kiper is one of the best. When it comes to talking about NFL, Kiper should keep his mouth shut.

Gus would have to win by a significant margin, IMO. Feeley has tons of upside and you know exactly what you get with Gus.

To put it in Madden terms: if Gus is an 81 and Feeley's a 79, you start Feeley because in 2 seasons he'll be a 88 and Gus will be a 79.

"With the #2 pick in the 2005 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select...

Jimmy Sweeney, RB, Riverside Middle
Pros: plays larger than his size. Faster than Maurice Clarett. Good vision, follows his blockers, runs the right way most of the time.
Cons: Did not impress at combine. Not a workout warrior. Possible character concerns. Was allegedly kicked out of Granville Middle for calling Tracy Delaney a 'poopsicle.' Scouts question his competition. Is 7. "
Thats freakin hilarious :roflmao:

I respect Kipers opinion when it comes to the draft and evaluating talent but I've never takin much stock in his actually predictions or opinion not related to the draft.
I'm with this guy!!...

Kiper is fun to listen to before, and during the draft, but when it comes to making predictions, it's just not his area of expertise....

It will be Feeley's job to lose....

mel kiper just reported that gus will be the starter going into camp!!! and if the dolphins trade out of the #2 slot it probably means ricky is coming back and the dolphins will get a back in the second or third rounds!
