UCF WR Breshard Perriman is skyrocketing. Mel Kiper now has him as No. 10 prospect, a spot ahead of Parker. #Dolphins reportedly interestedNo player’s value has skyrocketed in recent weeks more than UCF wide receiver Breshad Perriman.

Perriman, who entered draft season as a projected third round pick, has been rapidly rising. He’s now listed as the No. 9 overall prospect on Mel Kiper Jr’s big board, one spot ahead of Louisville receiver DeVante Parker.
The Dolphins have long been interested in Parker. But they are also considering Perriman with the No. 14 pick, according to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson.
Perriman ran a 4.25 in the 40 at UCF’s Pro Day. NFL teams love speed.
Here’s Kiper’s take:
A big receiver, he has the explosiveness off the line and deep speed of a player who typically comes in a smaller package; no player has moved up more on my board since the season began. Perriman can make the big play with his ability to win on contested throws by beating defenders in the air via size and strength, and with the ability to turn short catches into big plays by running past tacklers and through contact. He’s raw in terms of some of the finer points, but he could put up big numbers early if he gets his share of targets.
CBS Sports currently has Perriman as the No. 26 overall player and a borderline first round pick.
CBS lists Perriman behind Amari Cooper (No. 4 overall), Kevin White (No. 7), Parker (No. 13), Jaelen Strong (No. 20) and Dorial Green-Beckham (No. 23).
Kiper has Cooper (No. 3), White (No. 4), Perriman (No. 9), Parker (No. 10) and Nelson Agholor (No. 18) in his top 25 big board.
Perriman, the son of former UM standout and NFL receiver Brett Perriman, clearly has speed and strength. But he has been criticized for disappearing in big games and struggling with route running and reading coverages.
USC’s Agholor (6-0, 198) is also an intriguing prospect.
He’s athletic and a strong pass catcher but has a lean frame.
If Cooper, White and Parker are all gone, Green-Beckham remains one of the draft’s most interesting players.
He’s 6-5, 237 and has the talent to be one of the NFL’s top receivers. But his off-the-field issues are disturbing and he sat out last season after being released from Missouri.
Strong — 6-2, 217 — is a physical receiver but lacks top speed.
