Kiper says Long would love to play for Parcells

Just a post from the ESPN chat this morning regarding the recent rumor that J. Long doesn't want to play for Miami.

Dale (Ocala , Fl): Hi Mel, I read an article that states that Jake Long doesn't want to play for Miami. Have you heard anything about this?

Mel Kiper: I talked to Jake Long and he sounded like he was excited about playing for Parcells. Parcells sees some Jumbo Elliot in Long. I think he would be very excited to be a Dolphin. I would be shocked if that were true.

Sounds like the Long rumors may have been false.....which is good cuz Long needs to be the pick. Safe, solid pick.

Sounds like he talked to him and heard that he is excited. You're looking way too much into one word. It's a figure of speech.
