ESPN analyst Mel Kiper is among those who believe the first four quarterbacks will go in the top five picks, so he has Miami drafting Florida State safety Derwin James in the first round.

As far as quarterbacks go, he’d push for the Dolphins to take Richmond’s Kyle Lauletta in Round 2 or 3.

I could definitely live with these picks. Lauletta's going to be a good one, I think..and I love Derwin James, even if he is a Nole.

Yea I saw that. It would give the D. some flexibility with Mac being able to play down in the box more when they both are on the field.

Excellent accuracy with a high IQ and a soft arm. Reminds me a bit of Chad Penningtion. I would consider this guy round 4 or late possibly. I love QBs with great accuracy, I dont belive that is something that can be changed once you get to the NFL level.

Talk out here is that Dallas is planning on trading up to 8-10ish for Derwin James/Roquan Smith. If he’s a target, it might not be a given he’ll be there.

I would be stoked if we got D. James 1st and Lauletta in 2nd or 3rd round. I also wouldn't mind Mason Rudolph

He sounds like a good gamble outside of the first round. I don't know too much about him but a guy like him is what we should be looking at, considering we already have a starting QB and holes all over the place I'd rather not be drafting one in the first round.

I was saying the same thing last night watching his tape ....a shorter Pennington.

I wouldn't cry if we took him the third but no sooner. Id still prefer an OL long before a QB.

NE may be all over Lauletta at the end of round 2, so that’s probably what it would take. He’s intriguing though. I’m not sure he’s the most aggressive move for where Miami is as a franchise.
