Kipers latest Draft- 1st 4 rounds

Mel Kipers latest mock draft on ESPN website(insiders)

He has forecasted the first 4 rounds this time.
This is what he has Miami doing in their first 5 picks...

Round 1 Pick 9...Amobi Akoye... DT...Louisiville
Round 2 pick 40...Anthony gonzalez...WR...Ohio State
Round 2 pick 60...John Beck...QB...BYU
Round 3 pick 71...IkIkaika Alama Francis...DE...Hawaii
Round 4 pick 108...Ryan Harris...OT...Notre Dame
 
Horrible IMO.

don't like the pick at 40, but no matter who we have on defense, as stacked as our front 7 is, amobi is gonna be a force on the front for 10-15 years he is a BEAST.

i think at 40 we'll be taking kolb.
 
I don,t see us going D till late on the second day. Beck, I think thats too high for him. As far a Gonzalez, I don,t see him coming to the Fins( just my opinion). I see Miami going O in a big way on day one !

I think its impossible to forecast these things personally and especially
difficult to forecast who is going to move up and down the draft.
According to Mel, the 2 best OTackles and QBs will be gone by the time we pick at #9.
I dont understand why everyone is so hi on us have a dire need at the DT position. I agree we are old there, but it is less of a need than QB and offensive mind. Being that our 2 biggest needs are offense ,and this is the first head coach we have since Shula to be Offensive oriented, I am forecasting (personally wishing) that Cam hits 3 of the first 5 picks on the offensive side of the ball. We need QB, we need offensive line, we need a backup RB(assuming RWIlliams is traded or does somethign stupid) Cam has let our entire offense form last year walk out the door, and I dont blame him.
He is not out there signing many offensive free agents so the only logical conclusion is he plan on addressing our offessive need in the draft. I hope so.
It takes 2 RBs to win in this leauge(just ask the finla four form last year(indy, NE, Chicago, and New Orelans) we have one stud, we need someone else if RWIlliams is not going to pan out again. I wont be suprised if on day one we grab a RB in addition to QB, OT, CB.
 
Either way I think this is one of the worst mock drafts that I have seen for us. John Beck with a 2nd. That is way to high for him. Ryan Harris will be gone before that pick. I don't mind the Akoye and I like the gonzalez pick, but those two are about it with this mock.

Yep I agree with your opinion.
I really would like us to get Quinn, but at what price.
I would hate to see us lose a couple of our day one picks to get him.
Maybe we offer a second this year and our first(obviously) and give someone Ricky Williams! I would be ok with that.
 
bad mock...only agree with #9 if quinn isnt there
 
I totally believe that Ricky Williams will be a Dolphin this comming season. At his salary we would be fools to trade him for a 3rd or 4th pick. As you stated teams need two running backs now days. And Ronnie & Ricky are two of the best. As far as Ricky going back to his old ways I just don't see that happening. Ricky has too many kids to support and i don't think a Yoga instructor makes that much money.
 
oh hell no, josh beck would seem good but the rest holy S**T, plus it simple just draft brady quinn simple as that
 
See my sig for my predictions. Trade the #9 with Denver and get more picks, the best way to go. Last 2 picks, I would be happy with BAP.
