enjoy......
its too high for ginn. Plus I'd rather the Fins get a big reciever (6-4,6-5).
id be happy with ginn
I would hate to see us pass on LaRon Landry for anyone.
I'll field this one. Ginn should touch the ball 10-15 times a game. He doesnt necessarily have to be the starter, he has to be the X-facter. With a creative offensive mind like Cameron, we'd be able to get the ball into ginns hands in a lot of different ways. How do you see Ginn being used? I'm just asking your opinion, not disagreeing. The way I see it, he will definately return punts and kicks. Thats a given. But woule he be the #1 WR? Can't hardly see that. #2? Can he beat out Booker? #3? Then he really takes Welker's place and Wes would have no place on the team. #4? Do you use the #9 pick on a retuen sepcialist and a #4 WR? Or do you draft him for the future? Do you use the #9 pick on potential?
I'm not sure which candidate I support.
i agree with pretty much all of this....he could be the 2 or 3 for his first year and then 2 or 1 next year....i dont place as much empashis on what he will be on the depth chart as much as him getting the ballI'll field this one. To list a few: WR reverses, WR screens, Short ins and outs that he could possibly break for long gains, he'd be an awesome down the field threat (and i mean just run as fast he can down the field, let culpepper throw it as far as he can). Then you add on his KR and PR abilities, he'd be the ultimate x factor.
Now i know what your thinking, obviously other teams will gameplan to stop him. But once we establish him as a playmaker, we could then start using him as a diversion. I mean imagine we run the fake WR reverse, but we run a dive up the middle. The defense would have to respect Ginn running a reverse.
Kepp in mind, all of this is based on the idea that Cameron would use him accordingly. If he's not, hes not worth the #9 pick as a WR. Hes worth the #9 as a playmaker though.
