I live in Eau Claire WI, about 70 miles away from Minneapolis and I can understand his feelings.
I just got back from a week in Arizonia, and while I was brushing off 20 inches of snow and chiping off the ice in sub zero temps so I could get the kids into the van to drive home from the airport, I too wondred why I put up with this crap.
At least Krik gets paid millions of dollars to deal with it!

Players aren’t supposed to like visiting other cities, particularly ones with nice beaches and great food?

In the offseason, on their vacation no less lol

Seems like they are doing a Florida trip including Disney and Miami beaches.

When you live down here your whole life like I have you can take this all for granted.

Yup, we take it for granted. Last night my wife, who is a Floridian, said maybe I will see snow some day. I said its not all that grand...

I still have never “seen” snow. I have just missed it a few times and seen it from an airplane when flying over mountains . . . .but never had it fall on my head or picked it up from the ground.

We are planning on doing an Alaskan cruise in the next few years and my guess is that will be the first time. But I am not trying to intentionally see it lol . . . .I am good.

I was 30 the first time I saw snow. That's when I moved to Chicago and while the cold weather never bothered me, cleaning the driveway and the ice off my car did. We live 10 minutes from Disney and go often and it's cool to have it that close. We do take some things for granted, not only here in central Florida but in this country as well.

We could do worse than have Kirk Cousins as our quarterback.

At the end of the day he wasn't the only reason the Vikings fell apart last season, they had other problems to deal with last season, and that's before considering their post bye week schedule was tough. They had to play the Bears twice and go on the road to Seattle and New England, they lost those four games - all three of those teams made the play offs, and the Patriots won the Super Bowl. They did win games against the Packers, Dolphins and Lions, but the other four games killed their season.

The way I see Cousins is that he is a good quarterback that is a prolific passer, but is not one of the elite quarterbacks in this league. He's kinda like Matthew Stafford in that regard. But you can win games with quarterbacks like that if they are supported by a good run game and defense.

People just love to find things to complain about. Oh no Miami has better Weather than Cleveland and Minnesota in February the audacity.
