I just want to know why two guys who have never done anything are any better than a guy who has actually played and Kris Richard. Im not a fan of any of them but they obviously seem no better since they had got cut also. I would have rather kept Edwards because maybe he just needs more time and better coaching. I just don't understand getting excited by two guys who noone here knows anything substantial about. I would rather cut Reggie Howard now that would excite me because he is probably worse than Edwards or Richard. Now that would be exciting.
 
Umm.. Kiwaukee Thomas has done plenty, playing nickel witht he Jags for 4 years.

He is better then Mario Edwards, who had a terrible camp. Richard -- Jackson is a wash, but Saban obviously feels better with more speed (Jackson)

Well neither Edwards or Thomas has done all that much and Thomas was cut for a reason much like Edwards. Thomas has been a nickel back for 4 years and never had a career interception so that does not speak volumes and if he was so good at nickelback the Jags had a funny way of showing it by cutting him. Its basically a wash no matter. Mario has had a bad camp but he has started and played nickel also. Our depth at corner is pretty crappy no matter what name you come up with.
 
We keep talking as if thomas is on the team. There is no news we even picked him up.:confused:
 
Its the strangest thing- that link (at first) did lead to Cole writing about how we signed him, and then I come back and its gone!

Is there a way to e-mail Cole and find out? Or JaxDolfan- can you call his wife and find out for us? :)
 
I like Thomas I got his autgraph this year at Jags camp and have gotten for the last three years. I can't attend Dolphins camp living by Jax so I attend Jags camp to get my Live football fixto get me through. Kiwaukee is a very nice guy and isn't that bad of a corner either. If we picked him up it would be a good safe pick up and I would be all for it. He had a good camp and a I was a little suprized to he him get cut to start with.
 
Still no news as of yet. We'll have to see if Nublar has anything for us later tonight.

But the thing is, if it was so close this morning at 12, i cant imagine what has stalled the process 10 hours!

Its kinda late now, I'll ask her to call tomorrow. If his wife is working, we may get an answer. I'm not sure how good of friends they are, but I'll ask her to call. It might be a little awkward asking if her husband is still jobless. :lol:
