If Tannehill can play like he did from game 6 on last year, the sky is the limit. He ran Gase's offense fantastically without a true TE, and that's hard because Gase's offense typically features the TE. Adding a good run blocker in Asiata ... I'm excited to see how well this offense plays.

NICE!!!

What irony..Tannehill has taken one of the worst beatings in a QBs first 5 years then gets hurt on a fluke play lol

Whether you're a Tannehill fan or not, you have to respect the man for hanging in the pocket knowing he'll never get the same calls the "elite" QBs get.

Elite is thrown around too easily..There's a few elite players at the QB position..

Rodgers, Brady, Ben, Brees (declining). That's it IMO

Tannehill is going to shut up the NFL's nay sayers this year.

It feels different this year.

He has to be pissed he didn't get to beat the Steelers a$$$$ again while Steelers fans act like they did something special.

Put any backup in other than the Patriots and you're in serious trouble.

Ryan Tannehill is a tough as nails Texas boy. Expect for our skill players to really look good this, biggest question on offense will be the interior offensive line play.

Glad to hear that he has those competitive juices flowing. He has been accused at times of lacking them altogether.

True but not by the more informed around here. The kid has always been extremely competitive regardless of the team's success. You don't keep getting up time after time after getting the snot knocked out of you by unblocked or unabated rushers unless you've got a burning drive inside to shrug it off and keep going despite pissing blood. His competitive drive was never in question by those who knew better.

Truth.

After Sherman, Lazor, and Philbin screwing with his head, I think Gase has done wonders for Tannehill. He obviously loves the situation here, so I think it's going to show in his play.

That's great news, but I still think he should have had the surgery immediately after the injury occurred. It's probably weaker than if he had the surgery. I hope it's not One bad hit and lights out.

Looks like he's wearing the same brace as tom Brady. Half way up his thigh half way down his lower leg. Not exactly the kind of brace you call read option with
