Knowshon Moreno needs to be the starter

While I agree with the sentiment, we must remember it was against the Cowboys defense, that really is porous. I believe Moreno had a 6.5 yards/carry and Miller had 5 yards/carry. Both ran well, that has to be attributed to the weak defense as well. We will see how well they run against the Pats. The season can't come soon enough.

The reason I was excited is the individual skills demonstrated by Moreno. He setup blocks, made one cut and got downhill, and ran through tackles. Miller has speed, and he appears to run harder than last year. It is very clear that Moreno is a more talented back. There is a very big difference between Moreno and Miller.
 
I dont care if he was playing the school of the blind. He clearly showed that he is the best back on the roster and should be the starter. Miller ran against the same defense and did not show as well as Moreno. There is nothing to debate about that.

I don't get in to college ball much at all, and my daughter goes to FSU so that would be a NO.

I don't understand why people can attack someone (or label them) because they don't jump in the pool head first after 10 carries in a preseason game. I stated very clearly that Moreno was very impressive and ran hard and with fire. I also couldn't care less if he gets Miller booted from the team because of his play. If he deserves it and continues as the best back then I am more than happy. I'm just not going to react like I just saw Jesus on the field because the guy had a great half of a preseason game. You guys are preaching "consistency"...or lack thereof from Miller, yet you jump on the roller coaster after ONE game. When Moreno "consistently" does what he did the other night then I will be right next to you on the roller coaster.

Please don't come back telling me about what he did last season to somehow support the consistency argument. If you don't think the O he operated in last season didn't play huge in to his production then we will never go anywhere.
 
Prediction: Barring injury, by the middle of the season there will be no question in anyone's mind that Knowshon Mareno is and should be our starter. Mark me down for that, and feel free to pile on the Monday after week 8.

it was but burst is burst, and what I saw was a rb that was patient and hit the hole quicker than anyone we've had since 02. Very exciting to see for me! I might buy a Moreno jersey lol.
 
Let's temper our expectations. The Cowboys D really Sucks..
 
the coaching staff is trying to keep Moreno motivated I think by still saying Miller is the starter for now. but come game day Moreno will get most of the snaps. better blocker and receiver it was bond to happen as a passing team.

but the run that did it for me was when Moreno had to hurdle the guy at the line, kept his balance and ran through a tackler. good tough gain. something Miller never showed
