Knowshon Moreno’s 1-year agreement with the #Dolphins is for about $3M, per source.

Not bad at all, after cutting Thomas it'll cost us about 2 mil to upgrade the rb position by a pretty good amount. Add a bruiser in the draft and go in with miller for speed,Moreno for all around good runner/blocker/receiver and a rookie for power/goaline

We have seen nothing from Mike Gillislee so far. Maybe evaluate Daniel Thomas vs Gillislee. DT has been a disappointment but he actually got a lot more TDs last year than Miller. DT also played very well in the Pittsburgh game in the snow, to help us win. A lot of you conveniently forget that.
So if he is better than Gillislee, why not keep Thomas and cut MG?

Well, if you can only bring up one game in the last 3 seasons D. Thomas played well, I guess that tells it all..hmmm

Hah i was going to write the same thing. Good signing. This was one of JLC's 2 things he gets right every year.

Moreno has above average ball security and plays hard. He can also be an option in the short passing game. Granted, his stats were a result of being in a near flawless Manning system, but he still adds some needed toughness and veteran ability in the backfield.

the post was in relation to the fact that since we now have moreno, instead of using our second round pick on someone like carlos hyde, we could package our first and second to move up to get robinson. Oh wait, lets see see if we can find some more slot corners or back up lineman instead of getting the best OL in the draft. Our recent draft history has been sparkling. Robinson is the only player for us that would be worth trading up for.

Seriously, though, there's not a lot worth trading up for in the draft. It's a deep draft, but no one that screams "trade up for me!" I'd prefer trading down a few spots and adding some extra picks.

Exactly. Moreno is nothing special carrying the football. What he's here to do is pass block and convert short yardage, both of which he does pretty well (and Miller doesn't do well, at all).

Actually, Miller was better than Moreno in pass protect last year.
