I am confused about this guy; I have to admit that I am very disappointed that we signed him. My question is how am I supposed to feel about a guy if he begins to do good for us? Should I feel like it’s a fluke? He is not a threat at the RB spot. I need someone to give me some hope, tell me that everything is going to be ok at the RB spot because I am done with Miller, who cares about Thomas, and who the hec has a name like Knowshon? And please do not say that he had a great year last year because there is no way we are such a passing threat that teams will play nickel and dime defense on us to stop the pass and that it will open up the run because that is what happened to him in Denver. He faced 5 MAYBE 6 in the box. HELP ME UNDERSTAND PLEASE!

"Waaahhhh"

That's me trying to help you understand how you sound to the rest of us.:3w:

Here's what I know. Last year he gained over 1000 yards playing for Denver in a pass-happy offense. He fumbled only once. If he has near as good a year this year, I'll be ok with that.

Welcome aboard, Knowshon.

Done with Miller? Smh

He's a terrific backfield pass blocker - a quality neither of the two RBs you mentioned have exhibited so far. If he can keep RT17 upright for a second more, IMO, anything else is gravy( and as pointed out, there's plenty else) and you should feel the same way. Pennington showed time and again, and twice against the Ravens in 08 that quick dinks and dunks may help the stat sheet but against top 10 Ds, they're mostly detrimental. Give Tannehill and his fearsome arm some time to complete longer passes and the running game will open up.

It won't be ok....team is doomed...

Only therapy I can suggest is start as many threads as possible....

Most of the NFL use a two back system now. Knowshon can catch and is great at picking up the blitz. He kept a Peyton Manning who is a hard hit away from retiring from a hall of fame career upright. He is the type of back a young quarterback needs. Can catch out of the backfield and keep you off your backside. Miller didn't do much of any of those last year but he's still young and can learn from Moreno and hopefully develop into that type of back

All you have to know is, he is better than anything we had on the roster. I can guarantee he will be a good pick up for Miami, couple him with Miller and the 1/2 punch in Miami will be much better than it was with Miller/Thomas.

We are working hard at becoming an aggressive passing team, and Moreno is the perfect RB for this to happen. He can block, and is very aware who to pickup, he is a very good pass catching RB, and when running, he was one of the best RBs running with the ball in college when he was coming out, and last year he ran for 1000 yards.

If he is able to give Tannehill that extra 1 or more seconds with his blocking, run for 1000 yards, and add an additional 300 to 500 yards receiving, he will have become a huge pickup, and Miami will need to sign him up for some additional seasons very quickly...cheer up.

Last year I expected a lot more from our RBs. Lamar Miller still has good potential and Daniel Thomas has his moments but it was obvious that we seriously lacked an experienced veteran RB to get more first downs. Full credit to Dennis Hickey in signing Knowshon Moreno. He's coming off a great season in Denver that helped to get them to the Super Bowl and he offers great blitz protection and the ability to catch the ball for additional yardage.
Where Loui F Baby is distraught by the signing, I'm delighted by it. As a high character, experienced veteran he may also improve his teammates.
