I understand the need to finish a play when you're the defender but this looked extremely unnecessary and reeked of something dirty.

It was a dumb move to plant his arm into the ground after going down.

He's in grasp on ground, hand planted.

The man hits him on purpose, crunching his planted arm w. his knee.

Dirty.

The Bills were hitting very chippy/dirty in the first half. I counted 3 or 4 hits w. apparent intent to hurt.

For someone who played football, it's easy to tell, say, when a James Harrison head hunts -- there is intent.

Same w. yesterday. If they could count the knock outs like the Steelers used to, they would have.
