I realize that Koa Misi is only a second year player. But he doesn't seem to have it as a pass rusher and never seems to sniff a sack. I was expecting to see more from a second year player that seemed to be coming on.

I'm really hoping this is pre-season blandness and not what we'll get when the season starts.

na he is the Morlon Greenwood of OLB... basically will make the play if it comes to him.

He can't pass rush worth a $h1%$%

Watching Koa Misi and he just gets stuck to blocks. He can't get any movement. Needs to learn a few moves or he's going to be nothing as an OLB.

He's not a very good pass rusher. Quite frankly, that's not too much of a bad thing in Nolan's system as he prefers SOLB's who can defend the run and pass. However, on 3rd downs, when you might want to blitz, he's not going to get it done and we really need to find a 3rd down pass rush specialist.

One thing I noticed about Misi is he has no pass moves...just runs into the LT...also he does not see the qb...He is too busy fighting Tackles that he never realizes that if he just went toward the ball he could make a play..He does the Joey Porter dance alot..He needs to learn how to either use his hands or learn how to run the arc like Wake..

Jason Taylor?

All he has is the "bull rush" move. But he's a solid LB. He seemed to have pretty good coverage on that one play that was almost a pick

He looked pretty damn good shadowing the TE and deflecting passes....

Misi & AJ Edds are around the ball enough. Problems are Chris Clemmons, & Nate Ness. Those two are a 3rd and 10 conversion waiting to happen.

He's pretty damn solid in run d, and fairly solid in coverage. Even though he had 4.5 sacks, good for 2nd on our team, pass rush is definitely the weakest part of his game. Overall he had a good showing as a rookie, and I hope he learns something from JT this offseason.

Haha. Taylor is the best 3rd down SOLB option at the moment. Got a better idea?

The best on our team is probably right, but still not a very good option. Depending on what happens this year, it would probably be in our best interest to look for one in the 2nd round next year. I don't think there's going to be a better option for this year.
