Koa Misi

Seems to me that Misi is always around the ball, and while he doesn't necessarily wreak havoc, he is strong enough to warrant the LT concentrating on him, and with the D-line we have, this should open things up for havoc..

Also, i believe one of the things i noticed from last year, was that he was always around the ball. Recovering Favre's fumble in the end zone, etc..

Misi is playing out of position. I hate it when you use a high draft pick on a guy then change his position. This is what happens

He wasn't a 3-4 OLB in college, we are trying to force a square peg in the round hole

The best on our team is probably right, but still not a very good option. Depending on what happens this year, it would probably be in our best interest to look for one in the 2nd round next year. I don't think there's going to be a better option for this year.

hmm did you not see the pressure taylor was getting on the quarterback last night? i'd say he's not a terrible option for a band aid. ya.... itll have to be addressed eventually most likely, but i don't see it as a glaring issue this year. id rather spend next years 2nd on a RT. a pass rushing specialist can likely be addressed in the mid rounds as a 'pass rushing specialist' is generally lacking in other important linebacker attributes and will likely fall... it'd kinda be like taking a kick returner in the 2nd, a specialty need to a lesser extent. in the 2nd round youd like to address something that will be on the field 100% of the time, not 30% of the time.

It looked like he couldnt disengage the tackle when rushing the passer, Not sure if it was him playing this way because of a mobil QB and was told not to let him out of the pocket or what.....time will tell....

Jason Taylor?

No...Quentin Spears

he is an explosive athlete. his rating is better than clay matthews, so the potential is there. he needs to refine the pass rush skills. he knows it, the coaches know it. if he can't upgrade his techniques then he's outta here.
