not trying to be negative here, i like some of the moves we have made this offseason. However, why did we resign him? i honestly couldn't tell you one play he has made throughout his time here. Does he have any strengths? would he start on any other NFL team? just want some opinions here but I'm convinced this guy is channing crowder 2.0. A guy you dont even realize is on the field and you often forget he is on the team.
 
He is just fairly good. He's not garbage at all and yet his play is nothing special. The biggest deal to me is how often he gets injured and they are always switching his position around.

Oh yeah forgot this is yet another Tannenbaum decision I don't like. I'm sick of having Misi on this team. The kind of player who just skates by on a roster taking up resources and offering nothing back. Rather play someone off the street than another year of Misi's 2 healthy games of barely adequate play.
 
Yea, at this point we just can't afford to cut him. We have nothing better. With that said, this is why management needs to have the foresight to draft or aquire a replacement in a much more timely manner.
 
Gotta have solid role players. No need to make another hole by cutting him
 
I don't think he was "re-signed" unless I missed something. They restructured his deal.

Also - Misi isn't as terrible as some of you think. He was overexposed playing along a terrible LB crew. He's average starter and good depth. I hope we bring Sean Spence in.

Misi has always been a good LB. The problem has always been when he's called upon to be your best LB. In a system where he is your 3rd best is great!
 
Why do people obsess about misi so much? At worst he is ok

because its exremely annoying and unsettling that we have had this guy starting for 3/4 years (dont feel like looking it up). The guy is a below avg non playmaking Linebacker. he is a weakness on our D and its annoying that this hasn't been upgraded
