any inside info on konrads status? if he will play against the bengals or when he will be back?

i think he was a key in saturdays game and sorely missed (ok every game... cause everyone knows i think he has great talent).

An article I read today indicate his status is uncertain for next week, but it doens't sound good. Apparently he was in the hospital for 5 days after they performed surgery to remove the infection from his leg.

AGREED. They promised him more passes and he not only got them during preseason, he did damn well. I think he is VERY important to us this year, and it really hurts us to have him sidelined.

ugh that really blows big time!!!!! i think konrad is essential to moving the ball down the feild... i hope theyll practice his screens w/ other players this wk. in any case, konrad is irreplacable. hope he gets better SOONER than later.

thanks for the heads up.

i really hope so... i really think konrad has the potential to capitalize on rickys departure and really propel himself into deserved spotlight if just given the touches hes been promised.. in his healthy game, i believe he was 56 yrds for only 3 touches.

i think he is a giant part of our offense because he is a play maker and he loves the game. if he can be healthy against the bengals sunday night i believe he could be a huge contributor to moving the chains.

where konrad is most valuable i believe is in situations where we are -20 yrds from our end zone. he has the ability to really make a difference in this area and take the heat off of gordon, chambers, and booker. its that simple variable that will put points on the board for us.

Looks like he will be OUT for week 2

From herald:

Konrad missed the opener with a bursal infection. He underwent surgery to repair the area on his thigh, and although his status is uncertain for Sunday night, the Dolphins are optimistic he might improve enough in the next few days to contribute.

Starting fullback Rob Konrad also may be forced to miss a second game while recovering from an infection. Konrad was released from a local hospital Saturday after a five-day stay.
The article also says Bowens hopes to return next week but unlikely (needs more time to heal).
Minor was on crutches on sunday because of an ankle injury.
Do you think Gordon would be starting next week if Minor and Morris weren't injured? As far as Konrad I hope he can come back soon. IMO if him and Bowens were playing yesterday we would've won.

Has anyone else noticed that without Minor and Morris we don't have a backup for the runner who has been here 5 days? It seems to me like we need Leonard Henry on the roster, even if it is only for a few games.
