Here are the 17 Finalists for this year's HOF Class:

Wow.A punter for the HOF ?

This is as good a year as any for Kooch to make it in.He has been to 5 superbowls,6 Pro Bowls ,played 14 yrs.Its his time.If he doesnt make it now it will be a rough row to hoe.

He is a controversial figure but he sure had Saban pegged right.
 
wow. no offense to the guys on the list, but what a sad HOF list this year.

Ray Guy is the greatest punter of all time. He's probably the only shoe-in on the list. :lol:

Maybe, but how many plays does a punter get in ? I could understand George Blanda who was a good QB in his time,kicked FGs and punted.

They might as well have a category for HOF waterboy IMO.:wink:

I don't think any punter had ever made the Hall?....I think Guy is deserving and maybe Reggie Roby as well. If they are the best at their position they should go in.

I see that you're only 19, so it's forgivable. Matthews was an NFL OL for as many years as you've been alive! Think about that for a minute. He went to 14 Pro Bowls, so you know he wasn't just some benchwarmer, either. He played for the Oilers and then the Titans when they relocated.
In any event anyone who doesn't believe that Bruce Matthews is a shoe in is mistaken.

He should make it ,no problem! Great player,on and off the field.

I hope kuech gets in. I know that hes been a canidate a couple of times now. I know everyone here near buffalo is all excited about andre reed and thurman thomas. It would actually make me happy if niether of them got it this year to hear em shut up. Im also shocked to see a punter up there although he was a very good punter.
