Do you think Kris Jenkins will struggle in the heat/humidity in Miami? He is "listed" at 349 lbs. Seems to me he won't be able to stay on the field, which could mean big holes in the middle of the Jets D-line.

Not really sure how much the weather will be much effective this Sunday, nor do I think it should be an issue to both teams. Forecasted to be 86°F, not your typical mid to high 90's. And there's like a 20% chance of rain last I read.

Yeah maybe we practice in it but it's still hot and humid for both teams. It's not like our players will feel cool and the Jets players will be burning up.

i hope he does, lol

The phins are gonna wear his fat *** out on Sunday!!

Well he is a freak at his size. But i think the smart thing to do is run right at him a few time make him work tire him out then bust outside/

well he did play in CArolina for all of those years, so probably not. He is a load, we will have our hands full w/ him.

Totally agree. He is the heart of the Jets defense or that is what they are banking on.

Safe bet Satele will need some help. We are going to have to put some weight on him inside. Double him up and run at him.

Satele did get good practice against Jason ferguson, so he might be ready. And if im not mistaken, Kris jenkins is still new to the 3-4 NT position. So satele might have an advantage.

Agreed. They can help matters by throwing in a lot of cutback and stretch plays early in the game, getting him spending his energy trying to figure out what is going on in the backfield and redirecting. By the end of the game, he'll have nothing left in the tank.

Exactly what I was thinking as well.

Satele will definately need some help, but I think down the stretch he should be able to get the upper hand, considering the heat and all, if we do what you suggested. The game will need to be close or the phins with a nice lead though.

on the radio today sparano specifically said that working every day against ferguson and soliai will be a benefit to satele regarding jenkins on sunday.

If Ricky can bounce a few runs outside behind Long & Carey, we really will have Jenkin's Clydesdale sized a-- running all day. At least until he needs to head to the bench for good.
