Now that Kubiak's fired what would you think of him as the next OC if Philbin lets Sherman go. I personally think it would be a fantastic fit.

No very imaginative as a Head Coach or Offense coordinator. It seemed pretty evident the game has passed him by unless we want ground and pound.

If Joe Philbin is the coach, Mike Sherman is the OC. Simple.

The only way that Sherm is not here is if he retires.

I've been talking this move up for a few weeks now. Kubiak was the QB coach when the 49ers and Steve Young won the Superbowl, explosive offense. Then as OC with Denver spent over ten years as a dominant offense. No team over that time frame generated more yards or TDs. And his offenses were consistently explosive. If you consider how effective the Texans could be when healthy you can see he hasn't lost any offensive know-how. If I could get Kubiak I'd fire Sherman today.

Agreed and it might just end up being Philbin's undoing in the end.

Joe will be loyal to the end with him. However, Sherm might as well and if he thinks it is best he goes, he might.

Nothing keeps Sherman from getting a head coach job in college. There are some nice openings coming.

Sherman retiring might be an easy way out for all. I would at least talk to Kubiak but he will probably be employed by then unless he takes time off for health reasons. The last decent offensive coordinator I thought we had was Scott Linehan. That was way back in like 2005.

No way, he's still running an offense even shanahan knows is out of date; far too simple which leads to a ton of turnovers especially later in the season once all the new variations of the same old **** he runs are figured out.

No.

Guy damn near died on the field a few weeks back. Time for him to take some time off and decide what's important to him.

Kubiak is the next coach of the Dallas Cowboys. Red is gone.
