Kurt Warner weighs in on Dolphins QB search

Well, Miami hired Joe Philbin to bring Green Bay's culture to Miami, and signing an aging, injured veteran quarterback is not a move that Green Bay would make. The teams that will not want to bring in Peyton Manning are those that actually want to get a long term guy at this position. Peyton's health is still an issue, but even if healthy, he will at best give you 2-3 more years. It is not an ideal situation. Plus, if you go with Peyton and go all in to win now, you are basically ignoring the long term future of this position. That means in 2-3 years when he is done, Miami will be right back in the same situation.
What is wrong with contending for 2-3 years. Doesnt mean we cant get a developmental QB anyway.. look at ur example Green Bay Favre/Rodgers.
How long are we supposed to wait, we have been irrelevant long enough... yes go all in already!!
Anyone associated with the Fins, who doesnt want Manning should be thrown out of the room.

Manning has to be ready for thee install portion of TC, so the team keep Matt Moore, go get the QB in the second round, Pick up DE in the draft or sign one in FA.

I can't imagine anyone on the planet who would not want manning on their team if he is healthy enough to play. Well unless you have brees, rodgers etc.

Your imagination is pretty limited then, isn't it?

There are going to be plenty of head coaches that won't want him on their team's and many more OC's that wouldn't want him on their teams.

Remember he didn't get along with that guy who replaced Dungy at first. He is a high maintenance player with great stats, but his play off stats aren't so great.

At some point the adult professional men who get paid millions to make these decisions will probably end up just picking up a paycheck until the gig ends.

I mean, Ross is paying millions to a GM, an entire scouting department, a new head Coach and his good friend a new OC to make NFL decisions. These men all feel strongly about what they are doing. It is their profession not just an internet forum to post opinions for them. If Ross is going to make those decisions for them and broadcast them to the whole milky way, how effective can they possibly be in doing their jobs?

Sign Flynn or Manning, draft Kirk Cousins as a developmental prospect.

Admittadly, I haven't watched him much but everything I've read says Cousins is a LOOOOOOONG term project. No thanks.

Not neccessarily true Nubs. We all know Ross wants Peyton, but Ireland&Philbin may want Flynn or Tannehill, or even Robert Griffin III, but because Ross is their boss, they'll push for Manning first. Now if we do end up getting Peyton, i hope we draft Tannehill with our first rd pick, then go from there.

imo theres no reason we cant grab Tannehill with our first pick even if we do get Manning ,then go RT in the 2nd and OLB 3rd then BPA, the rest of the way.............
