Kyle Orton gets booed by Denver Fans

Never a good sign when your QB is getting booed at camp, to say the least. Broncos will really struggle this year.

Goodman seems to be having a good camp, 2 ints and one returned for a TD. Hope he continues his good form in Denver.

Saw this on the news out here last night out here...:lol:Then you have Denver fans out here talking about they are going to win 10 games...They won't do that with Orton sucking the way he does.

Sucks to be Kyle Orton.

Kyle Orton isn't half as bad as people think he is. In fact, he and Matt Forte were the only halfway competent members of Chicago's offense last year. The offense was fairly productive under Orton despite absolutely no help at WR and a continuous stream of dropped passes. Devin Hester was the guys number one WR despite having practically no legitimate experience at the position.

Unfortunately, Kyle is pretty much set up to fail in Denver. The fans just lost the best QB they've had since John Elway due to the incompetence of the new coaching regime. Chicago is also the hardest city on its athletes other than New York and I really can't think of a player other than Michael Jordan that Chicago fans have actually liked in a long time. Remember, they even ran Sammy Sosa out of town.

Wished that Cutler didn't leave any hard feelings in Broncoland or he would had been still there.

I sorta agree, he had no receivers to throw to in chicago, and in denver that will change with a great passblocking o-line and a top notch group of wr's, but Knowshon Moreno has to take some of the pressure of, because if he dosen't the broncos have NO run game, and one of the worse D's in the league.

good thing he is surrounded with a good team, at least better than, da bears

but then again who cares

Personally I think Orton will be fine. Orton was a solid qb last year with no receivers. I would rather have Orton than most of the crap we wheeled out in past years.

Nothing funnier then the Denver Donkey fans here in Colorado. They're always sipping the orange koolaid and thinking they are going to the Superbowl. I think a 5-11 season is about all they have to look forward to with Orton, and their new baby faced coach.

I also think that its worth pointing out that Lovie Smith wanted Orton as his QB and was clamoring for help at WR- help that GM Jerry Angelo has been unable to provide for several years so instead he cast blame on the QB position which caused somewhat of a schism between coach and GM in Chicago.

To Angelo's credit, he did go out and get Cutler and he is no doubt an improvement over Orton. But I still find Lovie's sentiment telling about the full picture in Chicago and how Orton fit into it. And to say that Orton is a bad quarterback is ignorant of the type of production he had in Chicago when healthy despite practically no consistent weapons in the passing game. His biggest problem was that when the Bears season began to unravel and the receiver play deteriorated even further, he tried to force things and win games single-handedly, resulting in some mistakes and poor box scores. But he is not the first QB on a bad team to make those mistakes.
