Why did we not jump all over this kid. I know some poeple are going to say "We don't want Kyle Orton he blows' and that's fine. Just give you're reason.

My reason is because he BLOW'S.:lol:
 
my reason is the draft is over and these threads get old. A team cannot draft every good player in the draft

Why did you not jump all over this kid back on draft day. Hindsight's 20/20 and the only ones who get to complain now are the ones who stated on record for Orton back then ahead of the draft.
 
I would have loved to see Miami take him. Orton looks like he could be a huge steal for Chicago and I think has just about everthing you look for in a quarterback. That said, I do understand that this rebuilding project is not a one year fix and there were so many needs that the team couldn't fill them all in one offseason. The qb is still to come.
 
I was one of the few people pre-draft that was wanting to draft him. I remember getting dissed for wanting Orton by a lot of people who were wanting McPhearson. Hmmm...hind sight is 20/20. Orton should have been our 2nd round pick, and we wouldnt have the QB problems we have now.

As much as I like Roth, I would have gave him up for Orton any day.
 
Ladies,

Its preseason. The guy hasnt even started an actual NFL game.

Its too early to make a judgment on him.

How can you possibly judge Orton before he's played a single down in a real game with opponents strategizing against him? The answer: you can't. It will take a couple of years before you can judge Orton. You think he's going to light it up this year? WRONG. Only 2 QB's ever looked great their rookie season in the past 30 years, Marino and big ben. Orton will not be joining them.
 
Orton is going to look awesome this year handing the ball off to Benson. :tongue:
