I was just watching him in NFL Network throwing a helmet of a Jets' player..., he did that because when he was playing for the NO Saints, the Jets' player was grabbing Aaron Brooks' helmet with intensity, so he watch that and he got very angry, he told that he can't stand looking how other players hit one player that "trains with him, talks with him and he considers a brother", when I saw this, for me was loyalty to the players of his team...

I personally would like him to play here, he also looks tough and smart...

BTW, if he plays as TE he will be Jeremy Shockey #2 (physically, mentally & in the way he catches the ball...)

He's going to be nothing like Shockey, but he would help in the blocking department. Don't see him going out for passes too much.

Most loyal player... come on.. consider:

#1. In that game.. the Saints were trailing 16 to 9... 4th quarter. Saints were on the 6 yard line when Turley got that penalty. Cost the Saints 15 yds and great chance to tie the game. Turley might be loyal to Brooks.. but sure did let down his team overall.

#2. Rejected long term contract extension with the Saints... reason he was traded to rams.

#3 Got in arguement with HC Martz... threated to kill the coach. Martz called NFL security..

Granted the helmet throwing was bad-***...but reality is he thought of himself/Brooks first and cost the team...lost his cool... if he happened in the first quarter he probably would be a hero... but remembered as a goat..

Injuries were considered career threating...

whatever...this guy is one tackle..block.. or fall from heading right back to IR...

2 years out of the league to play a new position... i hope the fins are not that desperate or need of TE for this guy..

It was a stupid move (the helmet toss), but Robinson should have been flagged 15 yards for what he did to Aaron Brooks.

Turley is loyall and he is the man. Think about him and Mcmichael in 2 TE goal line sets. There is no way Ronnie wouldn't get in and if he can't we can go PLAY ACTION!!!

I agree with you on that one. Essentially, Turley is a blocker. By him trying out for a TE position does not classify him with the likes of Shockey. Jeremy Shockey is a pro bowl TE. Turley is trying out for the team. Lets see what happens and then eventually you can start making some comparison and contrasts.

Agreed

I know that Turley did it at a bad time in that game, but if I saw my QB's head being twisted like that it would be hard not to react.

I had no issue with him getting physical with Robinson to help pull him off Brooks, the helmet toss and the bird flipping was stupid because it was vanity.
