Kyle Van Noy discusses being cut by the Dolphins w/ Pat McAfee

Well, I think he gave the right answer. I don't see why this has to be more than what it is. He was making more than we wanted to pay for the production which was good but not great. so we moved on and he's moving on.

Makes me wonder how different was the offer from the Dolphins and what he eventually got from the Patriots? It could have been that far off?
 
i thought the Dolphins liked leadership? Van Noy is supposed to be a good leader in the locker room.
 
I still don't get why fans are ok with a team releases a player when his play doesn't live up to his pay, but if his play exeeds his pay they scream bloody murder if the player doesn't want to honor the old contract and wants more money? I'm sure a big part of it has to do with the amount of $$$ players make compared to most working people, asking for more seems greedy.

I read the Dolphins did not offer to restructure his deal. They just cut him. Didn’t give him chance to decide if he would accept restructure.
