"It was supposed to be a slant-and-go," Coles said, "but he bit so hard off of one step, I just cut it off and straightened up. From there, it was a touchdown."

this is what he said after he caught the pass off eddie jackson

now my question is why was eddie jackson defending the jets best wide receiver.

the only time i question saban is when i see tillman still on the field every sunday. other than that.. im happy with the team. not the results but with the team. weve just had bad luck this year. if next year we can get a LB some safety help, and some OL help.

Another brilliant gameplan, Will Allen isn't exactly a shut down corner but we could at least make sure our best corner is on their best reciever most of if not all of the time.

Well, I was up Eddie's butt big time about biting on seemingly...nothing. Turns out, he read the play perfectly, he just couldn't react to Coles's adjustment fast enough. It goes to show you the difference between a starting caliber CB and a dime back caliber CB I guess.

I blame Culpepper. No, wait, I change my answer... it was Mularkey's fault. No, wait... Ronnie Brown. No, wait... our offensive line.

Seriously, WTF?!!!

Why is Jackson even on the field? I'd rather have Welker covering Coles. Jackson needs to go. And I mean yesterday. Damn you, Will Poole!!! Damn you to hell.

There are far too many players in our secondary that totally suck. Iv'e been saying this for a while and nobody wants to hear it, our secondary is full of journeyman crap backups.

Eddie Jackson was covering because someone apparently thought it was a good idea to have Will Allen blitz on that play :sidelol: I dont much care for Will Allen either though, I'll give him credit for giving it his all but the guy just has no awareness out there he just stares at the recievers hips follows them around until he sees them catch the ball then either tackles or tries to strip them once the QB's catch on they put a couple up in the endzone on him and get the PI call. I dont think I have ever seen the guy look at the QB once. Fact is with the exception of Yeremiah Bell whom Saban refuses to start for some reason that secondary is pretty damn awful.

further illustrates my point that corner is a huge need on this team. which is why i will continue to be a homer and plug my for my boy Antoine Cason out of my university, U of A. i'm tellin you he's a playmaker and will do great things in this league.
