L Gordon picked up by Philly

Of course he was. They knew they'd be able to wait and get a guy for nothing after the cuts and that's exactly what they did.
 
Philly has feasted on our errors.Oh well he will probably get on IR pretty quick.
 
It's kind of ironic that they could have sent a draft pick for him but didn't, considering last years trade.
 
now the question is this, is gordon going to be successful with them...and it pains me to say...probably...
 
It is real disappointing and puzzling why we didnt get a 6th rounder or something for him. Saban could of kept him and then traded, no?

Now just imagine how many of the Miami fans will deny wanting to get rid of him and deny saying he has no talent, if Westbrook goes down & Gordon comes in and stars.

I figure Saban let Gordon go so he could hook up with another team instead of holding onto him & then letting him go once RW returns.
 
They got nothing for nothing. The guy can't play. Forget about it and move on. If we kept him, the Eagles would have picked up someone else. That is how they operate. They were fully prepared to bring back Dorsey Levens.

no...saban would have kept him if he was stubborn. sabans willing to move on and not worry about whether or not we could have gotten a 6th round pick...
 
what was he going to do in Miami? be a 3rd string RB? I'm glad Saban let him go to a team where he has a chance become a starting RB if Westbrook goes down.
 
I'm suprised at that move, i thought Reid would go after a system back like Dorsey Levens. Gordon wont be used much anyway, he might do ok but he's not going to rush for 1000 yards and 15 TD's, the loss was expendable. I'd like to have gotten something for him.
