Espn has L.J. Shelton along with Will Poole listed as questionable

Interesting, Saban didn't mention him in his interveiw, nor did the reporters ask about him..and no one has reported anything, including the blog..which did mention one of the lineman having a twisted ankle.

That was Josh Shaw, I believe.

There was a defensive lineman mentioned today who had a red jersey on. It was Howard Green, not Josh Shaw. My bad.

But it was NOT L.J. Shelton.

In all TC's around the league players get nicked up. That's part of the game.
In the regular season players will play with minor injuries

Sorry Guys did not see the date next his name .

I came across this blurb.

Left tackle L.J. Shelton struggled early in camp, and I can't help but think of the three NFL personnel directors who questioned that signing. (One said Shelton replacing Damion McIntosh is a ``wash.'')

IMO its about time we acquired a top notch LT maybe in next years draft.
When you have an all pro QB especially one who has had a serious injury you want to protect your investment. We have had enough of reclamation projects.

Isn't Bryant McKinnie eligible for FA after this year? I remember CK writing an article about that and how McKinnie was outspoken about losing Moss and Daunte in Minnesota, which makes me think he might go the FA route...though the opportunity to play next to Hutchinson might change that...

It seems to be a logical option but McKinnie has made statements lately that he want to stay in Minny. If he is available we should jump at the chance as the top LTs are almost never available through FA and when they are they are exorbitantly priced.Thats why so many of them get franchised.

Very true. He probably would get franchised if he is allowed hit FA anyways, and there's not that many quality LT's in the upcoming draft. I hope Shelton pans out or Anthony Alabi hurries up his development.
