L.T. will not play Sunday

I knew that there was a chance he wasn't going to play, but never saw it confirmed. It has been confirmed per PFT.

We need every advantage we can get. Sproles still scares the **** out of me.

I am more worried about Sproles as a receiver then Sproles as the starting running back. I think we will be able to keep their running game in check, but their passing game scares me. We need to have the same game plan this week as we did against the Colts. Ball control.

I think we really have to have one of the ILB's "assigned" to Gates. Don't play the run, just follow Gates and make sure he's covered. Kind of like a rover position. Just to make sure Gates does not blow us up the way Clark did.

LT is a shell of his former self unfortunately.. Remember what destroys us though.. halfback screens and any pass plays that involve the TE.. Sproles is deadly with the screen and Gates is just deadly in general..

We execute the same game plan we did against the Colts and there is no way we lose. You can look at last years game against SD as an indicator of how it would work against them. We dominated that game on both sides and it was not as close as the score indicated. The key is getting our running game going and I think we will be able to do that against their D.

Sproles out of the backfield as a receiver is deadly. We can definitely keep him in check as a runner.

I hope we leave our corners on an island against Jackson and Chambers, for better or worse. The safeties need to focus on Gates. I personally wouldn't mind a DB on Gates with safety help.
