What about your pal Richard Head? Has he ever lied?
No but like LaConfora, he has one eye.

I want to know why the stupidest threads have the most posts.![]()
The problem with this kind of rumor is that it doesn't really matter what the Dolphins say. If it's true, they'll deny it. If it's not true, they'll also deny it.
There seems to be this instinct to believe Armando when the Dolphins tell him it's not true -- maybe because that makes the Dolphins look better -- but neither he nor the Dolphins should be considered reliable.
Armando's track record is absolutely terrible and he's been used repeatedly by the team to float things they want floated.
Yet Barry Jackson on the other hand is pretty credible, IMO. If he thinks this is bunk, I would believe him over JLC.
All Barry Jackson said is that the Dolphins told him it wasn't true. He didn't report that it wasn't actually true. Big difference. If he says the latter, I'll believe him. But the Dolphins word doesn't mean much in this kind of deal (their word doesn't mean much in general, but definitely not in situations like this).
What is the difference? How would he know it was not "actually" true? All he has to go on is what they tell him.
This just in....
@HarryDick per "sources" Tannehill to be moved to WR his natural position.
Passing along an official denial is not the same thing as a report.
Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora 6m
Just to reiterate, Dion Jordan absolutely was made available to NFL teams by the Dolphins. Um, and why would they ever "confirm" it. Please
I am sorry. I do not get the difference. I think the team came out really strong on this.

There's such a thing as more digging. The Dolphins call up Barry Jackson and say that LaCanfora's report is bull****. He passes that along. Then he, you know... actually does some reporting. Gets some more information. He calls people who would know -- agents, players and people in the FO who he trusts -- until he has enough information to publish a story that he thinks is true.
Such a story might corroborate what the Dolphins said. Or it might not. Barry Jackson is a good reporter so I'll tend to believe him when he comes out with that story.
This denial by the Dolphins is not that story. It's the same denial they'd make whether LaCanfora's story is true or not.
It's really not that complicated, Hayden.
