La Canfora: No bombshells found in investigation, could be trouble for Martin

So now the attorney investigating the case is releasing an opinion of the investigation results to others before formally presenting the final report to the NFL?

It's the responsibility of the public, however, to evaluate information reasonably and rationally. We aren't "sheep" who have to take the media's spin and run with it.

Seems like a lot of people take the media's spin.

I would not be surprised if that is what happened. Martin and his momma hatched this plan in the off season when he realized that he was not good enough or tough enough to play in the NFL. Being lawyers, they want their money and let the eager media spread a candle into an inferno.
I hope in the end that this damages the Martin family and their legal reputation and the Miami Dolphins and NFL can turn this worm named MARTIN.
Thinkof the damage to the reputation of the NFL and the team, not to mention the loss of revenue. It would be sweet if the league and team sued the Martin family. Let them squirm.

If Martin simply did not want to play football anymore did he have to take this path? I know it is about money and what not, but fake an injury or something. Do not destroy the lives of people within the org.

What else would you expect from lawyers. Scumbags

Unfortunately there are plenty of sheep. Most likely a majority based on the last two presidential elections.

I wondered if Martin will be "black balled" from the NFL. What GM wants a sub mediocre LT with baggage? No that was not a racist term...

The sad thing is, if this report is true(knowing La Canfora it might not be) is that all the media, late night talk shows and people in general ripped the Dolphins for something that may have never really happened. The damage of the reputation is already done. Thanks Martin.

ESPN went all in for Martin.

The public consumes what's fed to them, that's why the media has the foremost responsibility to decipher and interpret events, and relay it to us. It's not as if this is done on a volunteer basis, these people are paid to get the facts right.

Jason La Canfora is an idiot, but he's also been out for blood in this from the start.

That he's reporting this is interesting to me.

We'll see.

Martin steamrolled anyone in his way. How many lives did this guy change?

Plus, the media will never learn to let all the information come out before deciding...unless it fits their agenda.
Never be fooled by an industry that profits from scandal. For the media, $$ come first, then the truth. There are no exceptions to the rule.

Of course he didn't have to. To me this shows that Martin holds some deep resentment towards the Dolphins org, felt wronged, and wants to punish people. In other words he didn't get his way/things didn't go the way he wanted, he feels offended because he wasn't treated nice enough, so he's going to try and take it all down with him. Innocent parties be damned. It's all about him, screw everyone else. Martin is a petty, vindictive, self-centered ******* and can go **** himself.
